OCT 18 - TUE - DEPART LOS ANGELES.  Flight to Osaka.

OCT 19 - OSAKA/OKINAWA - NAHA. 
Arrive Osaka Kansai Airport and connecting flight to Okinawa.  Transfer to our Naha accommodations - home for the night.  SMILE HOTEL NAHA RESORT

OCT 20 - NAHA/OKINAWA BEACH. 
After breakfast, visit the Memorials of the Pacific War, Shureimon Gate - the symbol of Okinawa, and Shuri Castle.  Cross-island transfer to our beachfront resort, with coral reefs and sunny skies.  RENAISSANCE RESORT HOTEL [BLD]

OCT 21 - OKINAWA BEACH. 
A restful day at Okinawa Beach - visit Ryukyu Village for a study in Okinawa life, culture music, dances & food.  Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at our resort - with many activities, or relaxing in the sun.  Buffet dinner at the Sailfish Restaurant.  [BLD]

OCT 22 - OKINAWA BEACH/NAHA. 
Return to Naha to explore Kokusai Dori (International Road) filled with its many shops and restaurants - perhaps try Okinawan noodles on your own, last chance for Okinawa souvenirs.  In the evening a traditional Okinawa “Mingei” folkloric show of music & dances while enjoying a typical Okinawan dinner.  TOKYO DAIICHI NAHA [BD]

OCT 23 - FUKUOKA/KARATSU. 
Morning flight to Fukuoka on the Island of Kyushu.  Drive along the Japan Sea coast to Karatsu, once an important gateway to China & Korea.  Visit majestic Karatsu Castle and the Hikiyama “Kunchi” Museum filled with giant festival floats.  This evening enjoy tatami rooms with crisp “yukatas” and a Japanese “kaiseki” dinner.  KARATSU ROYAL HOTEL [BLD]

OCT 24 - NAGASAKI. 
Countryside vistas of tea plantations, rice fields, & tangerine groves on our drive to Nagasaki.  Visit Peace Park & Museum and Glover Mansion, reminding one of Puccini's opera "Madame Butterfly."  Accommodations at the foot of Glover Hill.  NAGASAKI TERMINAL HOTEL [BLD]

OCT 25 - KUMAMOTO/BEPPU HOT SPRINGS. 
Enroute to Kumamoto, see the many hells of Unzen - a short ferry ride across Shimabara Bay to visit picturesque Suizenji Park in Kumamoto.  Cross-island drive to Japan’s most famous Hot Springs, Beppu.  Beppu sightseeing tomorrow.  Enjoy deluxe Japanese tatami accommodations at one of Japan’s most famous hot springs resorts.  BEPPU SUGINOI HOTEL [BLD]

OCT 26 - BEPPU/FUKUOKA. 
A visit to the many “boiling hells” of Beppu - blue Ocean Hell, ruddy red Bloody Hell & “Tatsumaki” Geyser.  Then the speedy Expressway across Kyushu takes us to Fukuoka for our final evening on tours.  Farewells at dinner.  NEW OTANI HAKATA HOTEL [BLD]

OCT 27 - THU - FUKUOKA. 
Tour disbands after breakfast.  Flights from Fukuoka to Tokyo/Haneda-Narita to Los Angeles are included.  [B]
